About Commercial Decor

We are a professional painting company specializing in commercial and residential projects serving the Calgary, Canmore, Bragg Creek and Banff areas.

Owner Dennis Schaller started Commercial Decor in 1978 as a full service painting company that has enjoyed an excellent reputation in the construction industry as well as with home owners on various home painting projects.Our company got its start in Saskatoon working for the government of Saskatchewan and Mcniven Construction on a variety of northern projects.

Our first large projects were in 1982 and 1983 for Cana construction working on an interior and exterior painting contracts of the Knights of Columbus seniors highrise and level 4 highrise nursing home.

From this business relationship we were later referred to the Wolfe group of companies (now Quorex construction)in 1986 for the Parkridge level 4 care home wich consisted of 238 rooms and 180,000 sq ft.

We have continued to work with these same companies on different projects and have maintained excellent relationships with many other general contractors from our companies beginning to this day.

In 1992 we relocated the business to Canmore,Alberta maintaining our reputation in the commercial construction industry in Calgary as well as working with homeowners on small projects and large exterior multi family projects in Banff and Canmore.


We remain the only painting contractor based in the Bow Valley with an extensive portfolio of large scale commercial painting projects. Whether your painting project is big or small,home or business,interior or exterior we look forward to working with you in the future.
